Laurence Rouveure from Ardesia Design built the Chalet Gstaad in collaboration with Amaldi Neder Architects, a private chalet for relaxation far away from civilization or big cities. Natural wood is a good choice for an alpine chalet as it brings the owners closer to nature and creates a very cozy atmosphere. Here the interior is covered with raw Australian wood and Danish fir trees. The look is rounded off by wool and linen, neutral tones and soft textures. Instead of headboards, fabric, wool and cashmere become even softer. The furniture is modern, a mixture of traditional and versatile knowledge from all over Europe.
