If you like dressed furniture and knitted stools, the Jumper chair by Dutch designer Bertjan Pot might be of interest to you too. The chair has a knitted sweater-like, continuous, oversized wool cover, which makes it very comfortable and cozy. Buttons hold it over the wooden structure and curved steel legs. The cover is knitted on a ‘knit and wear’ machine suitable for garments. Here, however, the production processes for fashion and design are shared. Once the garment is finished it undergoes a high level wash to create a seamless and cushioned effect that removes most of the stretch from the wool but presents a high quality fabric that layers the structure with precision and accuracy. The chair is available in the versions Gray-Charcoal and Red-Gray Striped as well as All-Gray from Established & Sons.
