The young German designer Tino Seubert offered the furniture concept “Forming History”, which is based on significant moments. He selected several items for the collection, such as Liu Xiaobo’s empty chair at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo. The events of the past are registered as abstract shadows, deformations or traces on the newly designed object. The furniture has the opportunity to capture a moment and actually stabilize it in time. The first subject in the collection is called the Nuremberg Trials. It is a creative bench made of natural wood. This bank reflects some politically important events. Such a simple but significant bench would decorate any garden or public place.
