The latest project by the Arthur Casas design studio, Casa (Haus) AL, was built in Joa in the hills outside Rio de Janeiro and, thanks to the choice of materials, is fully integrated into the natural environment. At the request of the owner, stone, wood and glass were used everywhere. Each of the three floors has its own ambience: the ground floor consists of living rooms for the gardener and the maid as well as two guest rooms, the third floor from the master bedroom and the owner’s office and the second floor from the ground floor pool deck and a wonderful sea view, also houses the entrance. The interior is modern, very natural and the sea view is highlighted in every room. On the whole, the house really looks like a secluded paradise!
