Stylish Bench Re Edition Of Navy Chair

The Emeco 1006 chair, also known as the Navy chair, is an aluminum chair manufactured by the Electric Machine and Equipment Company (Emeco) in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The chair was commissioned by the US Navy for use on warships during World War II in the 1940s. The Emeco Navy bench takes the originally designed Emeco chair and extends the design to the size of a bench. The Emeco Navy Bench takes over the originally designed Emeco Chair from the 1940s and extends the design to the size of a bench. The bench’s polished finish emphasizes the distortion of the design from the reflection created on the surface. The bench is made of anodized aluminum. I especially love one of the colors – delicate pink, it gives the piece a special charm.
