Apartment Designed In A Fusion Of Styles

This beautiful apartment in Barcelona was built by Francesc Mitjans in the 50s. It was recently remodeled by designers Patrizia Casarini and Monica Colominas from the Dalla Polvere design studio. The designers decided to leave some vintage details from that period, but the rest were structurally changed. I like the organic fusion of styles: traditional sofas in the living room with an African stool and animal skin on the floor, vintage table and modern chairs in the study, French-style armchairs and a rustic table in the dining room, exquisite lamps and fur in the bedroom. The apartment looks very harmonious, antique furniture and a collection of contemporary art give the living space warmth.
