Artist Stephen Turner designed a studio space as a personal experiment in minimal life – an egg-shaped floating living room and studio space. At first he thought it was an installation, but now he uses it as a year-round home. The whole house is wrapped in wood; The outside of the egg is mostly unadorned, with the exception of a few round windows and those stained wood trim. Inside there is a simple shower and cooking device, as well as a hammock for resting. There is an entrance and a detachable dock on the side of the Exbury Egg. I think sleeping in such a sea shell is very calm because rain and wind can be heard very well and nature is so close.
