Laconic Minimalist House With Multi Colored Touches

Laconic Minimalist House With Multi Colored Touches

This bold modernist home was designed by Maddison Architects and built for an art-loving family. The screen with large perforated holes is the outstanding design element in the structure, which is reproduced throughout the house. The concrete exterior structure gives this house its shape and presence. The decor inside is stylishly minimalist, laconic and yet colorful. All surfaces are either concrete or tiled, giving the house a minimalist, elegant look. The widespread use of glass, including the ceilings, brings in lots of natural light, and that’s very important when many surfaces are black and dark gray. The atmospheric canvas became happier thanks to colorful furniture and decorations – sometimes multi-colored.
