Mid Century Madrid Apartment In Warm Colors

This light-filled and airy apartment in Madrid in a building dating from 1809 is actually much smaller than it looks. Mid-century owner and design fanatic Fernando Garcia was last renovated in the early 1970s and called his longtime friend, interior designer Erico Navaso for help organizing the layout of his new home. Poky interior walls have been removed, the original shutters for the windows have been found and reinstalled, and the yellowed pine floorboards have been softened with bleach. Meanwhile, Fernando’s ever-changing collection of 50s designs can be seen. The elegant lines create a perfect contrast to the renovated rooms. The apartment turned out very stylish and elegant, bravo, designer!
