This small 1950s building that is a former workshop is located in Montreal, Canada and was designed by Atelier Moderno. There is a communal area with a comfortable living room with a corner desk, a dining room and a streamlined kitchen where each element shows its modernity. The decor is stylishly minimalist with mid-century modern touches. A single string staircase provides direct access to a green roof terrace that offers both privacy and urban presence. Beyond the common room follow one after the other the boys’ room and the master bedroom with its own bathroom, which is characterized by the combination of lacquered concrete, Ipe wood, porcelain, stainless steel, glass, water and the occasional fire of a small brazier.
