Tiny Two Story Beach House With Geometric Design

Spring is high time to start thinking about summer vacation and furnishing your land or beach house. Here’s some great inspiration: a small, two-story house in Beach Hampton, just 15 “by 20”, designed by Bates + Masi Architects. It shows slight shifts in the geometry, whereby the natural light is optimally used and at the same time the tight space requirement is retained. By increasing the volume upwards, the interior feels larger and makes space for an interior light shaft that brings light to the ground floor. Large glass surfaces give the interior a completely open feeling to enjoy the view. Privacy covers can be lowered between the rooms, which are also divided acoustically. Each room has its own mechanical unit, which makes it more energy efficient, but also eliminates the need for floor and roof ducts.
