When Charlie Kratzer started the art project in the basement of his South Lexington home, he was surrounded by walls painted a classic cream. He bought Magic Marker and Sharpie for $ 10 and after the place went all over the place. He drew many famous works of art there all by himself. The walrus and the carpenter (from Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there), salon by Picasso Georges Seurat S.unday afternoon on the island of La Grande Jatte and others were found on Charlie’s basement walls. Isn’t that cool when you have such a good drawing school, can you decorate your walls so cheaply?
