Exclusive La Muna House With Wabi Sabi Interior

This is a great renovation of one of the first homes called La Muna House to be built in Aspen Colorado’s ultra-exclusive Red Mountain enclave. This is a fantastic rustic ski chalet with all its imperfections clad in reclaimed local wood, stone and steel. The architects at Oppenheim Architecture Design have tried to use the natural resources as little as possible and to fit effortlessly into the idyllic surroundings of forest, stream and mountain because it is unique. The house is extremely environmentally friendly not only because of this minimal impact, but also because of the solar collectors that provide the energy needed for electricity and hot water. The interior is ultra-minimalist, gray, black and white; a tribute to the Japanese sensibility of Wabi Sabi. This really is an exclusive house!
