There are thousands of unusual home improvement materials out there: concrete, clay, and paper, but milk crates? Milk crate is a great DIY material: it’s stackable, sturdy, easy to move and change. Atlanta-based industrial designer Jenny Drinkard makes box accessories such as shelves, drawers, connectors, wheels, legs, and protrusions for hanging items such as bulletin boards and cable clips. Crate side tables, chests of drawers and bedside tables – all of these cool and convenient things are made from milk. Drawers inside – and a perfect bedside table or a small bedside table is ready! Any modern room would look good with it – white plastic is up to date.
