Futuristic Self Sustaining House On Stilts

The 21st century is time to go beyond the current limits of residential architecture and design and to highlight the possibilities that could arise for sustainable living. Perched high above the landscape, futuristic designer Benoit Challand’s stilt house would contain a wind turbine underneath and solar panels above that provide all of the electricity. Inside, the house offers breathtaking, completely unobstructed views of the mountains and beyond from its main rooms. Wood paneling line the ceilings and interior walls of the house, adding a warmer feel to each area. A house on stilts should conquer any landscape – a mountainous or a water landscape. So we are waiting for technologies with which we can build them.
