Hill House With Unusual Architecture And Minimalist Interior

This unusual home is located in Big Sur, California and was designed by Carver + Schicketanz. The goal was to create a retreat that would blend in with the landscape and the result is here – Hill House. The hill was incorporated into the architecture, the house is partially in it. A large green roof covers the underground part of the house; All capacities are underground to save the landscape. The interior is cool: amazing rough stone wall sets the mood of the living room; shabby wooden wall above the fireplace looks so natural! The overall style is simple and minimalistic with lots of warm wood that gives the interior a soft and cozy feel.
