Kitchen Design With Norwegian And Japanese Details In Decor

Ready for a fantastic kitchen remodel? The design of this kitchen in a Toronto home was inspired by the kitchens in Norwegian summer homes made from Norwegian wood. The shelves are stocked with kitchen utensils, cutting boards and dishes. Some Japanese accessories and dishes were also included as the owners love to cook Japanese food. The counters are soapstone; The floors are made of soap-treated Douglas fir. Lots of wood in warm colors makes the decor very inviting and cozy, and I love the open storage – it gives the kitchen more space and makes the design easy. Everything has been thought of to the owner’s taste, and the kitchen is very comfortable and cozy.
