The renovation of industrial spaces into living spaces has already become a trend. This house used to be a Victorian carpenter’s workshop converted into a loft-style living / work area with two bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a small kitchen under the stairs that lead to a second bedroom on the mezzanine. The house has been painted white but the original wooden beams and woodwork have been left unchanged. I like the old fashioned fireplace and the bricks in the middle of the house. The owner, Anna Barham, a graphology artist, has outfitted the interior with a mix of antiques and classics and mid-century textiles, making the space feel fresh and unstudied.
