Designer and artist houses surprise, impress and inspire us again and again because they know how to express their personality and have excellent taste. The French designer Caroline Gomez shares this home and work house with her husband and young daughter. The house was originally a jukebox repair shop that was built in the 1930s. What is special about this design is that Caroline used colors to define the zones and functions. Her furniture is a mix of her own designs and mid-century Scandinavian pieces. Lots of colorful accents make the rooms cheerful, modern and lift the mood. The colors are used and mixed up so unexpectedly that I would never think they would go well together. Have fun with the design!
