The crisp blue used in this lovely Danish house is a subtle hint of its history – it was built in the 1830s and was originally a fisherman’s house. Now it’s a nice mix of rustic, industrial, and coastal-inspired decor combined with harmony. What immediately strikes you is the natural wood with the lovely shade that is used for floors – it looks so natural and nautical that you can almost feel the sea breeze. Cool industrial and shabby chic furniture set the scene, and I love the inconspicuous use of seashells and urchins to continue the theme and that beautiful blues is amazingly refreshing.
