It’s hard to imagine a penthouse designed in such a style – but here it is, a Manhattan penthouse in the 19th century building. The designers used as many natural materials as possible, and mostly dark ones, although the interiors don’t look gloomy. The walls are mostly concrete, raw and unpolished to create an atmosphere. Lots of natural wood and stone used for decoration continue the designer’s idea and they all look raw and industrial. What’s special about the penthouse is that it’s not cluttered, there isn’t a lot of furniture, and the open-plan decor makes the apartment look even more spacious. The color scheme is natural and earthy, and the color accents are dusty too.
