Unusual Art Deco Table With An Interesting Pattern

I’ve never seen anything like it! This is one of the most incredible and unusual tables in the world! Misha Kahn’s Entrapment Table is made of fiberglass-plastic strands woven into the tabletop and the same strands underneath that are baked and supported. The pattern on the surface of the table is based on an American Chippendale stencil, but in my opinion it is reminiscent of national Russian art like Gzhel or perhaps a pattern on a Persian carpet. The embroidery in the tabletop serves as the basis for the twin twex fiber, which is woven through around 2,000 holes to form the pattern. The table top is made of ash and is ebonized and burned with a bleached, laser-cut insert. Any unusual or art deco interior will be brilliantly decorated with the help of such a table. If you want to surprise your guests and grab their attention, this piece is for you.
