Shingle-style homes found in New England seaside resorts around the turn of the century inspired the design of this family vacation. The house overlooking a lake is made of stone and wood. Thanks to this, asymmetrical lines of the roof and walls blend naturally into the landscape. From a dramatic two-story central dining room, the plan curves gently towards the lake, offering light and panoramic views of the water to both wings of the house. Both the outside and the inside have both done with a touch of luxury. In a playful note, a blue light in the dome on the roof has become a nocturnal landmark for the residents of the lake.
