The Lien Residence is a house in Singapore designed by the Ministry of Design studio in Singapore. It is a one-story bungalow style building with a zigzag shape. The shape helps avoid the existing trees and creates small courtyard spaces that are sheltered from the weather but allow light and breeze to enter the interior and the basement. Another interesting feature of the house is a diagonally patterned planted roof. The interior plan is divided into three sections – an entertainment zone, a family zone, and a main private zone.
