Alpine houses are charming not only because of the amazing work done by architects and designers, but also because of the fantastic view! This alpine retreat is called Haus Wiesenhof and is located in Tyrol, Austria. The authors, Gogl Architects, took the client’s request into account and created a haven – a place of peace and contemplation with a strong relationship with the nature that surrounds it. The house is spacious, light and airy, the colors are calm and neutral, and some archaic materials have been used for both building and design. Generous openings without threshold values allow interiors to merge with exteriors. Warm days inspire to stay in the garden and cold days – inside in front of the stove, but every moment the owners feel close to nature and very relaxed – exactly what they wanted.
