Minimalist House With Strict Geometric Shapes

Minimalist House With Strict Geometric Shapes

This cool house by Marc Prosman Architects was built in Amsterdam in 2011 on one of the six man-made islands that make up the IJburg region. The shape of the villa was determined by the proportional volume and the shape of the island. The facade is made of glass and framed with wood. The geometric shape is quite strict and there is an unusual balcony. The interior is minimalist, lots of white paint, natural light and a fantastic view. The wooden ceiling of the house hides the private zones. It is a perfect place for people who want to be far away from the big city and enjoy peace and quiet.
