Japanese designers are famous for their talent for combining functionality and cool design because rationality lies in their philosophy and lifestyle. The Japanese design brand Muji designed this narrow three-story house in Tokyo. As with its products, the house is about the concept of simplicity, maximizing the space available and its functions. The challenge was that the lot was extremely narrow for a house, but the designers managed to use every single inch in a smart way. White paint and light natural wood make the room appear larger, and easy stairs do not make it look heavy. The storage space was completely hidden so as not to clutter the space and to make the interior look stylish.
