One + is a small modular home system designed by Lars Frank Nielsen of the Danish studio ONEN for the Swedish company Add-A-Room. Small houses can be built or existing ones expanded on prefabricated 15-square-meter modules. These modules are made from high quality local Swedish materials and are stylish, energy efficient and future-proof. Such small houses have many implementations. For example, they could be used as youth accommodation, as a guest room or even as a summer house. The company delivers them by truck and installs them on site by crane. The minimum price for a module is $ 35,000.
