Casa Kimball is a private beach house luxury villa on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. It is located on a cliff with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Atlantic. Although it has large terraces, an infinite fringed pool, an outdoor hot tub, and tall windows, it is designed to be protected from views of neighboring villas. The interiors merge with the exteriors, which allow a sea breeze in the shade of the sun all year round. The villa is approximately 20,000 square meters and includes two indoor and two outdoor lounges, a dining room with views of the pool to the sea and an outdoor bar area.
The 45m long pool that forms the heart of Casa Kimball is one of the main features. Every room in the house has a view of the infinity and the sea beyond. Three different levels of platforms in the pool allow guests to lie, sit, and lounge flat in the water. With a deep blue, slightly reflective tile, the surface of the pool changes color to match the ocean. Swimming in the pool towards the sea creates the illusion of being in the ocean itself.
